welcome to any newcomers! this is the single best way to engage if you do not have a large following here. Posting frequently in a specific channel and engaging with people writing good posts is how I connected with all the people who I'm close with today. there is no shortcut, just be your interesting self and do it over and over!

This is the challenge of what caused Google Plus to be considered a 'Ghost town' despite having huge communities, creating a bunch of relationships (that I still have to this day), & creating many very very cool & useful products too. It's a positive friction for keeping signal high & but it also limits wider adoption in different ways. There are definitely a lot of trade offs and I think it's a very interesting intersection of values & objectives. It will be interesting to see how things develop around here... BUT.. 100%.. Thoughtful solid replies are the way to connect with those who are vibrating in a similar frequency. I think there is definitely a point where sacrificing signal for greater adoption unlocks a whole more world of trouble... but then different opportunities amongst those who are more participants rather creators/builder. Tricky pickle.
