This app in a way reminds me of Orkut back in the day. I made some pretty meaningful friendships from around the world and I'm still connected with them til today.

Go to orkut.com Jason. It was a social media site that was actually about connections and meaningful conversations, a lot like here. It eventually sunsetted. Looks like they're revamping to restart it.

Ahh yes it was Google's version of a social media. It was fun while it lasted. I think it appealed more to the international audience than US.
