negativity towards "airdrop farmers" is misplaced and biased. hundreds of thousands (millions?) of people all over the world have decided that doing microwork for protocols is their best path to economic prosperity. that is incredible and should be celebrated. it's on us to enable them to contribute positively.

this is a based take. i was talking to someone the other day and said it comes from a place of privilege to look down(?) on people who are tryna play along the degen tipping game bc they donβt βneedβ the money, vs others playing the game who could definitely use the money(not everyone but most).

you know what is actually privileged? owning a phone or a computer w/ internet accessibility, having the time to set up a digital wallet, and monitor token price to sell before it drops why is it we call mTurk "digital sweatshops" but airdrop farmers get a free pass? because they get rewarded with a volatile token?

the privilege i mentioned above is relative and only specific to $DEGEN tipping experience. i'm not familiar with any other meme coins or airdrop farming so my perspective on this is limited to degen and the last 4 weeks. i am not sure what mTurk is but i will look that up.

jesse said "it's on us to enable them to contribute positively" and i agree with it knowing that the team behind degen could have designed a better way for how tipping works. they chose a different path which gives it more visibility. silent tipping like warps would've been great and improved everyone's experience imo.
