I’m very split on the idea of allowing the minting of multiple editions at a time on tortoise. People already here would like it and it would generate more revenue for artists in the short term. But conceptually it seems complicated and brings the tech too much to the forefront. The average consumer doesn’t relate to collecting multiple copies of a song. It makes the collector have to think a lot harder during the process. Rather than just being: I like song -> I collect. I am thinking that long term I should keep it as simple as possible. Thoughts?

my immediate thought was there’s always a few collectors who are wanting to pay more just to support an artist they love and then i read the rest of your cast.. 

how do you feel about tips? mint fee gets you the song(s) and then adding a tip is more like hey i love your work i want to support you beyond this mint. you could name it differently if tips sounds odd.

You’re really getting at the crux of the issue here, which is that there absolutely needs to be a way of capturing the long tail of people who want to contribute more
