as much as i’m grateful to have found a life in photography, i really wish making a living out of it didn’t revolve around being so social. this world is an exhausting place to navigate when morals and ethics take a backseat because of money.

being stubborn when it comes to sticking to our morals is a good thing. it takes someone with strong sense of justice/ethics to be able to do this and we should be proud out it and never second guess it. 

it baffles me when people tell me "this is normal/this is how the world works" because it shouldn't. there should be no room subjectivity(?) when it comes to certain things around morals/ethics.

I feel you and that last sentence is something I’ve been thinking about more and more recently. Maybe I am being stubborn/naive by not bending my ethics/morals even just a little for money when everybody else seems to have 0 problems doing it. I mean just look at all the grifters everywhere
