You would forego most of your rights, especially as a woman living in the South. However, I love the idea and the city as a passerby (I'm originally from Atlanta). It's lush and tucked away between mountains with mostly manufacturing jobs... like the carpet capital of the world!

It is a small world; I was born and raised in Marietta on the west side, close to Kennesaw/Dallas. I've been in NYC for the last 8 years.

I grew up going to Ruby Falls for field trips or when family/friends were in town or driving up to Nashville. Love the idea of the city and hope the idea spreads to different cities.

I've always loved Chattanooga as a daytrip destination but could never live there because of its isolated location and conservative values — somehow it has maintained this interesting dichotomy of progressive, beautiful art & nature with aggressively conservative ideology.
