I am highly critical of intellectual fashions, even when they align with my philosophical views, because they often lead to echo chambers.

a true philosophy is not only fine being put to the test of battles against others, it encourages it. that's not to say debate is the purpose of philosophy though haha I just mean if it's real, it can be questioned without negative response

Good call. Carl Jung said being stuck in any reality tunnel is the main cause of developing neurosis, which can simply be described as making a natural behavior a problem. eg. my bed needs to be made every morning, ok behavior. it needs to be made even if my wife is being rushed to the hospital, not so healthy lol

if you have "philosophical views" you are not doing philosophy, only arguing.. give it all up, your opinions, your position, yourself and listen to the argument, follow it. Let logic win. Everyday all day. Then, maybe, Plato would allow you in.
