Some wallets use the label "staking" to refer to the act of handing over your coins to a custodian who will turn around and stake them. Is this label correct? Staking may have been the user's goal, but the "handing over the coins" part feels too critical to not be reflected in the action's label. Am I off-base here?

This is the video that brought me to this observation. It calls this action "Regular staking", but doesn't seem regular at all to me. It also goes as far as calling this action a "position", which feels even further removed from what "staking" actually means. https://warpcast.com/whatax/0x2eab4c6e

Maybe this calls for a "custodial staking transparency" /walletbeat attribute that rates whether wallets inform users about the risks and trust assumptions they are making as they use such features.
