I was going to say no on the basis that monkeypox is transmitted via close contact (https://www.cdc.gov/poxvirus/mpox/if-sick/transmission.html), much more so than COVID-19.

But then I found that the R0 is surprisingly high (2.4–3.1) and up to 14% of carriers are asymptomatic, so now I don’t know
