Ey dude, another thought that popped into my mind around this: it’ll need to be easy to migrate user data from your competitors, no one will wanna re-scan or re-search for 400 books they’ve read in the past. Dunno how easy, prob not very, others make it to export, but less friction here is good

I use Goodreads and the main thing I love is that I can add my friends and the default feed when I open the app is their activity - what they’re currently reading, what they’ve added to their lists etc. The feed also adds in books that are trending, so it becomes a bit diversified content wise.

Hi Justin... I have a ton of experience with GoodReads and glad to see someone thinking about this. GoodReads is highly regarded for the quality of the reviews, it is a huge effort for readers to write a thoughtful review. Booktoc made it more visceral and accessible.. How are you thinking about integrating tokens?

I think it would be useful if there was a sort of sub channel to filter what you wanted to learn. I like the idea of this channel and the postive possible uses for it. Think it can serve as a great infographic for new comers on this purple app. Excited to see new advancements!!!

Currently use Goodreads, mostly use it to keep track of what I’ve already read, don’t rate books. Make heavy use of the barcode scanner and would like recommendations for new books for existing series I’ve already read.
