I'm exploring a system where users can buy credits with crypto to pay for their overages. Next, I'll run some user tests and use the insights to develop a new iteration 🙃

Here are a few strategies that work for me: - You might be too close to the problem. Taking a step back and revisiting the problem statements often helps. Ask yourself: What are we trying to achieve? Why are we doing this? Who are we designing for? - Going back to the drawing board and brainstorming with pen and paper is my go-to method. It’s simple but effective. - Sometimes, taking a break is key. If I hit a wall and can’t make progress, I don’t force it. I usually sleep on it and find a solution quickly the next day. - Reading up on studies and user research related to your design topic is crucial. It helps me generate fresh ideas and insights.

Gm gm /farcasther I'm going to be a host on a podcast this Thursday and would love your input. As a woman in tech, what topics or questions do you think would be interesting and important to discuss?

Question is, who has time to name layers? It also breaks my design flow.

1/2 Fun story: Back in high school, the guidance counselor told me I had two options: I could become a florist or a storefront designer. Basically, I was bad at everything math and science-related. I ended up studying cinema before moving into graphic design, and I loved it. I had a class where we were introduced to Photoshop and Illustrator, and I think this is the reason why I decided to go to university for graphic design. I was first denied by the program because I didn't have enough "visual art" in my portfolio. At the time, the program was really oriented toward drawing and painting, which wasn't really my thing. I decided to rework my portfolio and messaged the director with my updated version, and boom, I was in.

As @jpren.eth said, better late than never 🙃 Yooooo, I'm @marjorie, designing from Quebec, Canada Hyped to join the /lounge with the Farcaster designer crew. ~ I discovered Farcaster because of @polluterofminds 🙏 early in 2023. I wasn't using socials before, but something about this community was different, and I loved it. ~ I'm proud of my global journey. It was a bumpy ride to find what I wanted to do, what I wanted to work on, and to find people that trust and value designers. ~ I'm currently working on anything /pinata related. We just released a group functionality if you want to check that out. When I'm not designing, I'm building my pottery brand /made-by-marge. I have a /hypersub collab with @samantha that is going on 🤩 [Sam's Candle Club](https://hypersub.withfabric.xyz/s/sam-s-candle-club-7u9ezlhzug3k) ~ What inspired me this month was *Kinds of Kindness* by Yorgos Lanthimos 🤌 [Watch the Trailer](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8fYtuE_ZJ4E)
