One file is perfectly acceptable. A lot of times people over complicate what they actually need. React is great but if you just need a couple of html files, maybe it’s not necessary. Either way, I’m excited to see how farbarter progresses!

Static in this context means it works entirely client side. So a Wordpress site with a php backend is not static. A next.js site with serverless functions and SSR is not static

I'm going to ask a dumb question:

Why use React to build a static site? Without interactive elements / dynamic content in a site, what's the benefit that React adds over a static HTML file?

Or am I misunderstanding the definition of "static site" here?
