What’s missing/keeping it from being your daily driver? It’s my daily driver now FWIW!

Extensions. I am so much slower in Zed because I can’t do things like type rafce to create a React component. Also search and file linking is missing or not quite there so it’s slower to jump between files for me.

Yeah, I think it will ultimately be great. It’ll just take time.

Same for me. That's what kept me from making it my daily driver. I would check the updates every week to see how it was coming along. The team is solid, and Atom was all I used in high school. I admire them for being honest about starting over instead of trying to force it.

Oh that’s great! It means they might be getting close to solving these problems. It’s so blazing fast I really want to use Zed.

Word, I think extensions just came out in the preview builds! I haven’t explored them and so far it’s only things like themes.
