Extensions. I am so much slower in Zed because I can’t do things like type rafce to create a React component. Also search and file linking is missing or not quite there so it’s slower to jump between files for me.

What’s missing/keeping it from being your daily driver? It’s my daily driver now FWIW!

Yeah the fragmentation is a big problem. Not sure how to solve with though when each editor might be built in a different language.

So many editors popping up in recent years. All of the are building their of plugin system. Fragmentation is really in world of editors.

dream would be if cursor.sh rebuilt on zed now that it's oss, really been feeling the speed pains recently
