Sort of but different. I think college is valuable but not necessarily to get a job. So my advice will be to position themselves however they can for work without relying on college and use college for social development.

Totally agree. I’m so happy I got my MFA but I’m also happy I waited until I knew I could afford the debt that came with it.

Got an MFA can't say it opened any doors, however it was still life changing for me.

I’m on this boat! Well, the career itself pays out but there’s a lot of “ifs” which can get troublesome in some life phases. Who know what unpredictable things can happen? 

At least, except for the time, it was free.
