Daily rant: why do people like iMessage? 

- 2nd worst in spam  (after telegram)   
- doesn't sync contacts and some conversations to desktop 
- lets one person have many identities (phone + email) 
- almost no one has pfps 
- tapbacks are boomer

I get why people use it, but why do some people actually prefer it

Normal people (in the US at least) don’t care about any of this. iMessage is popular and preferred because Apple is popular and preferred. Outside of the US, WhatsApp is more popular if I recall correctly.
