I personally prefer dapp. Can't think of another english word that has the second letter capitalized.

I used to say app too. Got the blog posts from 2018 to prove it 😅. But the more I think about it, the more I wonder if it’s a branding opportunity to be owned in the same way Apple owned the transition from Software to Apps.
