This is they key point for me: “If we ourselves insist on using Web2 social media platforms rather than our own, then why would anyone really buy into our ideas around decentralization, permissionlessness, the ownership economy, etc.?” If you believe In crypto then you should live your values, even if it means missing some alpha on Twitter for a time.

I completely agree, it's been on my list of things to write about. The algo is open source, and the biggest dicks get the loudest microphone. If this were a physical space would you want to hang out there? So why do we tolerate it in the digital space?
