Albert Camus was born in Mondovi, Algeria, to French parents. After his father died in 1914, Camus and his brother Lucien moved with their mother to a working-class district of Algiers. Camus went to France in 1938. He was in Paris when the Germans invaded France during World War II in 1940. His most impressive work, i think, NOCES (1936)
