Albert Camus was born in Mondovi, Algeria, to French parents. After his father died in 1914, Camus and his brother Lucien moved with their mother to a working-class district of Algiers. Camus went to France in 1938. He was in Paris when the Germans invaded France during World War II in 1940. His most impressive work, i think, NOCES (1936) suivi de L’ÉTÉ (1937).Paris : Les Éditions Gallimard, 1959, 185 pp. Collection folio, no 16. Impression, juin 1999. Public Domain: https://athenaphilosophique.net/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/Camus-Albert-Noces-suivi-de-L%C3%A9t%C3%A9.pdf [...] Astronomer, French-Algerian artist Kader Attia grew up in Algeria and the suburbs of Paris. Sir? Artists and philosophers understand migration and global history far more better than politicians and billionaires with good intentions who grew up in a country where inequality caused by racism and violence affected daily life. I'm sorry sir, it's true ... https://www.apollo-magazine.com/archival-impulse-an-interview-with-kader-attia/
