I’m currently struggling with the realization that my current career path is not something i want to do for the rest of my life.

As someone with a similar experience,what gave you the courage to walk away from a prestigious but unfulfilling job and pursue a path that aligned more with your values?

it wasnt courage - it was a mix of some things i liked doing like writing and potentially freelancing, and a loss of hope about my former path

if anything i probably stayed too long

i was sure i didnt want to "go back"

I also was very excited by the unknown and a sense of adventure

but doubt, uncertainty and discomfort have been constant companions on this path

I have just learned to live with them

So you weren’t completely sure of your new path?
