Thanks to @jayme & the Algos (#bandname) for the new follows (#bandname)! Ask me about: • web3 (been building since 2017) • fintech (formerly in the space) • startups (2x VC backed founder) • sports (current startup) • Jesus (believer, ex-pastor for 7yrs) • books (I can read) • beverages (I drink it all)

In your opinion, what kind of web3 app would be the one that would bring web3 to the masses?

If it’s a web3 app, it won’t work. It’s akin to building and sharing a “GraphQL app” and expecting people to use it for that reason. Crypto has to be an enabler, not the star. Keep it stealth. Under the hood. So what can crypto enable? Ownership. What can people own? What do they want to own? Build that.

Any ideas on areas to explore regarding ownership? While onchain/digital ownership is interesting, feels like it’s been more theory (and great blog posts!) and abstraction than tangible user value. Curious to hear your take

Easy. Idea map out what people own then ask if it’s on chain. Tons of folks building in obvious assets (real estate, art, financial instruments, etc.). But what about non-investment ownables where there are obvious benefits: - Pets (on-chain rewards and pedigree) - Farm equipment (don’t have titles!) - Rentables
