From his early days as a multimedia developer in the 1990s, Matt Perkins ( @nudoru ) has a long history of creating digital art. His pursuit of generative art dates back to January 2021 and to date, he has released multiple works on Versum, @fxhash, and most recently @rodeodotclub.

Through the prism of generative art, @nudoru's work examines classic painting and impressionist approaches. Drawing inspiration from nature, he combines his experience in fine art with the emerging medium of code. Matt uses only browser-based JavaScript programming to produce his generative art. He is using no AI tools in the process; each algorithm was created by programming a JavaScript application that can produce limitless variations.

"Buckeye Cove in Early Summer"

Andrea Belloni ( @waterflowing ) graduated in Physics in Rome and has worked for years in the field of control systems and data analysis. He developed a passion for complex systems, chaos theory, and fractals which, combined with his interest in computer graphics, led him to create various programs for simulating and visualising complex structures. For many years, this work was pursued purely for personal satisfaction. However, for the past two years, some reimagined versions of his old programs and new creations have been released as NFTs on blockchains such as Tezos, Ethereum, and Bitcoin.

All his works have one thing in common: they are the product of a self-written program. ‘I have never used traditional tools or even photo editing or post-processing programs. I have nothing negative to say about these tools, even less about those who use them. There are artists who create wonderful things using them, they simply do not belong to my way of expressing myself.’

"Landscapes #2"

dist.cs ( @distcollective ) is a multidisciplinary artist duo based in Spain and Turkey, founded in 2019 by Bilge and Ilgın İçözü. Their work is characterised by deep exploration of the organic elements of computational aesthetics, achieved through the use of generative algorithms. The duo’s passion for exploring new forms of expression with modern technologies has led them to work in a wide range of fields such as music, animation, visual, and generative art.

Their first exhibition as a duo was held in Istanbul in 2022. Following that, they participated in an interactive exhibition at Art Basel Miami 2022 in collaboration with the @tezos Foundation and @fxhash. Their works have been exhibited in art fairs and galleries in Turkey, U.S., U.K., Spain, France and Italy.

Qotonana ( @qotonana ) is an electronic engineer by education, from Bosnia & Herzegovina, but the never-ending urge to create stuff has led him to a graphic design and art director career. Using code to create art, or as he calls it "just nice-looking things," is often challenging but the ultimate fun for him.

‘The amount of positive energy in the NFT space and the genart community, especially, is incredible, and it just keeps you going. Connecting with artists and collectors from around the world and hearing their appreciation, support, and, of course, critique is an incredible thing.’

Qotonana's generative art projects are ever-evolving, experimenting, and growing in style and story with every new release.                                           (4/7)

That's a beautiful collection and great thread. Idk how you airdrop these pieces for the low price of a hypersub, I haven't checked out hypersub before but this is making me want to try it 👀
