For this week's curation, "Obscured," we recognize the the human head not merely as a vessel but a site of mystery, transformation, and ambiguity. Through various interpretations, these 5 works challenge the traditional portrait, exploring what lies beneath the surface. Faces are fragmented, blurred, or hidden, symbolizing the complexities of identity, memory, and perception. The obscured head represents what is unknown or concealed in ourselves and others, inviting you to question how much of what we see is shaped by what remains unseen. This curation explores the unseen depths of the human psyche.

Roger Haus @rogerhaus is an award-winning digital illustrator, NFT artist, and art director based in Barcelona, Spain. With 15+ years of experience, Roger has built an art career creating digital products that have garnered international interest. His artistic journey includes developing visual languages for prominent clients, such as the French band Cocoon, Els Amics de les Arts, and DigitalArt4Climate, an initiative linked to the United Nations for COP26.

Growing up around the same table where Picasso and Miró once worked, Roger developed a deep passion for surrealism, which is evident in his artistic style. His works often carry a sense of wonder and imaginative exploration, blending surrealist influences with modern digital techniques.

Since embracing Web3 in 2021, Roger has gained recognition for his "HAI" collection and with his innovative approach to NFTs and digital art he has established himself as a leading figure in the rapidly evolving world of blockchain-based art.

Lars Nagler @larsnagler is a German artist with 28+ years of creative experience, expanding his practice in 2021 to include NFTs. His artistic journey began with formal studies at Bauhaus Weimar and has since evolved across diverse mediums, including analogue collage, photography, narrative & abstract short films, sound design, music, and 3D art. More recently, his exploration of AI has become a key aspect of his visual language, constantly adapting and re-imagining his creative approach.

Nagler's work has resulted in numerous exhibitions, music videos, short films, music albums, & commissioned pieces. His artistic versatility shines through in the wide range of projects he has undertaken, always pushing boundaries and exploring new mediums.

Currently, he has five ongoing NFT projects minting on @rodeodotclub : Parish, The Dreams of Fefe, Factories, Hands, and im Verschwinden. These projects reflect Nagler's continued passion for innovation & his ability to blend various art forms.

Oleg Gant @o-gant is a multi-award-winning Lithuanian artist, photographer, art critic, and curator. His works, known for their emotional abstraction, are exhibited in prestigious art shows across Vienna, Zurich, Warsaw, London, Berlin, and in galleries across the USA, China, and Northern Europe. Gant’s distinctive style reinterprets the human journey, offering visual representations of life’s emotions and experiences.

Specializing in emotional abstraction, Gant’s works delve into dreams, hopes, and the questions we ask ourselves throughout life. As he explains, "Each piece of my artwork poses a question that each of us has asked ourselves at some point, as well as the answer to that question. And each time, it's a new question and a new answer."

His achievements have been recognized globally with multiple awards from renowned organizations such as Lens Culture, Leica, PX3, Umencia Art Photo International Photography Competition, and WMP.

Ezekiel @ezekielart is an Argentinian expressionist artist whose work delves deeply into the raw spectrum of human emotions. His visuals are both vibrant and brutal, blending color with visceral intensity to create pieces that are mysterious, dark, and impossible to ignore. His expressive style is marked by a sophistication that intimidates and captivates, offering a striking exploration of the emotional landscape.

Ezekiel’s bold, unfiltered approach to art is evident across his various collections, which can be found on several web3 platforms and marketplaces like Objkt (Some Old Pieces), Foundation (True Colors, Primal, Ezekiel, The Inner Side), as well as Opensea (Ezekiel, Editions) and SuperRare. Each collection showcases his ability to channel raw emotion into visual form, making his work both provocative and unforgettable in its expressive depth.

Ada Crow @adacrow is a Spanish multidisciplinary artist, art historian, & curator, whose work is shaped by a deep academic background in art history. This expertise allows her to grasp the evolution of artistic expression & infuse her creations with a rich understanding of the past.

Her artistic practice spans a wide range of media, including photographic manipulation, oil painting, ballpoint pen drawing, and AI. With a dynamic approach to creation, Ada blends these techniques to transcend the boundaries of traditional disciplines, continually pushing the limits of her craft & exploring new frontiers in art.

She owns a long and impressive list of international awards, as well as publications by influential organisations and magazines in the art world in Spain, France, Italy and Germany. Ada had countless exhibitions in famous cultural hubs such as Barcelona, Tokyo, Rome, Paris, New York, Liverpool, Dubai, Las Vegas, Milano, Amsterdam, Toronto, Lisbon, São Paulo to name just a few.
