Sometimes, I think to myself that even the self is just made up of narratives we tell ourselves and others. I think it's beautiful because it leaves a lot of room for us to make something of it.

Narrative good. Narrative also “real” in a way that it does itself provide downward causal pressure*. (within the substrate it “runs on” → social systems)
