I'm not a fan of fiction books.

Fiction relies on made-up characters, plots, and metaphors to explore aspects of reality and human nature.

I find it much more fun to learn the core ideas presented directly.

Sometimes, I think to myself that even the self is just made up of narratives we tell ourselves and others.  

I think it's beautiful because it leaves a lot of room for us to make something of it.
