server workers are dangerous if you donβt know what youβre doing. gonna be an interesting time in the frontend scene when people fuck up their whole deployments from offline caching π¬

They sure are! And "sticky" to unload when you have eff'ed them up. "Minimum viable ServiceWorker" coupled with deep paranoia and fear of the foot-gun that is inexplicable caching strategies π€―
