there's something, I reckon, in CI (and the constellation of devops methdologies) as the counter-point to the tsunami of "vibe" code that is yet to be fully explored, I reckon.

Particularly if starting from the higher order philosophy and intetionality behind your devops world, @adrienne - and backing it into.

• Teams of humans smashing out code that explodes under it's own complexity with <n> days, weeks, years.
• Teams of LLMs smashing out code that explodes under it's own complexity with <n> seconds, minutes, weeks.

Same-same-(ish) ??

The amount of times cursor AI starts their reply with a variation of:

“Ahh you’re right!”
“Ahhh I’m sorry, you’re right”
“Oh yes! That’s an even better way”

…

“Ahh you’re right, if you don’t want to drop your database, here’s a better approach”


Anyway. All the old skool IT practices like taking frequent backups and using source control are still useful.
