Time to share a personal story to go with the theme of this weeks /success rounds. Today has been 7 years to the day since the last time I used heroin. This is my mugshot from soon after the last time. I thought my life was fucking over at this point. Multiple felony charges and not a leg to stand on. Somehow today, I am free and clear with my record relatively in tact. Iβm married to a girl I have been in love with since high school, and Iβm working at a company that I love. Plus, Iβm developing my independent skill set in a way that might lead to even more opportunities down the road. Moral of the story is, itβs never too late to turn your life around.
