25 USDC for the first 15 people who tell me about their experiences with internal referral programs. -Was it self-service or had to contact another person/dept? -Was the process for making a referral clear? -Were you updated on the outcome? -Was the incentive communicated upfront? -What was the reward? -Etc @bountybot

1/n Had referral policies both at 0x/Matcha and Phantom, as well as other tech jobs. Answering in order My bar for referrals: I need to have worked with them in the past (previous job / hackathon / side project) and need to want to work with them again. I never do "cold referrals" even if I was paid 1b $points 4 it

2/n - A mix of both. I could add the referral without mentioning to anyone, however I would always follow up with recruiter to give them context - Process was clear, usually via Greenhouse or Lever - Was updated of the outcome but mainly through the person I was referring, I would follow up to hear how interview went

3/n - Incentive was communicated upfront, but was never a driver for me. Building and maintaining the company culture was more important, since I always worked at startups. - My referrals were $1k up to $5k at my last gig

4/n Over the past 6-7 years working Silicon Valley SWE jobs, I've probably referred 10 people max. Out of those people, 2 of them were hired. Happy to answer other questions
