Visiting Sapporo and Fukuoka this summer. First time. Any top recs for food (especially those unique to the region) or activities?

100% recommend going to Nanzoin temple outside of Fukuoka and checking out the reclining Buddha, such an incredibly beautiful place. There is a restaurant there called Tamaya that makes an amazing Udon. Would highly recommend.
