Tried my hand at homemade pierogi (ruski) for the first time, inspired by @pieroguy and oh my god this is exhausting. I studied in Warsaw for a semester and this was my whole diet. They look not great but they taste pretty good. I’ll do better next time. And I’ll start making them before 8pm. I need a nap.

Look great for your first time! Dough to filling ratio is on point. Once you find a groove while assembling, the time goes a lot quicker. Great job!

Yay! The recipe said not to make the dough too thick so I rolled it out to smithereens and it tasted right. The presentation wasn’t great and the shape and size were inconsistent.
