You had me at art inside of a national park. I love a good Open Air Museum!

The Hakone Open Air Museum is one of the best modern art museums in the world. Many pieces were donated by artists who have a deep respect, love, or connection with Japan. Many of them exhibited here and when the museum opened in the 70’s, donated works. Interactive works, nature, and art collide here and I love it.

Could be. Sometimes they replace items, especially in the main building. They own 2,000 pieces and can only exhibit maybe 50 in the gallery!

What a nice place to visit.
I learnt the museum will be closed from Tuesday, January 14th to Friday, February 28th, 2025. Is that true? @pichi
