I miss Tonkatsu so much. I can make it at home, but itโ€™s never as crunchy as the professionals. This is one of my favorite quick bites when Iโ€™m in Japan. When they are deep fried oysters on the menu, Iโ€™m even happier!

This is a fillet cutlet!๐Ÿ˜‹ I always have a hard time choosing between loin cutlet and fillet cutlet.๐Ÿ˜† Lately, beef cutlets have been on the rise as well.๐Ÿฅฐ Fried oysters are often a winter-only menu item, but fried horse mackerel, fried shrimp, and cream crab croquettes are also delicious, so it's hard to choose.
