I miss Tonkatsu so much. I can make it at home, but itโs never as crunchy as the professionals. This is one of my favorite quick bites when Iโm in Japan. When they are deep fried oysters on the menu, Iโm even happier!

This is a fillet cutlet!๐ I always have a hard time choosing between loin cutlet and fillet cutlet.๐ Lately, beef cutlets have been on the rise as well.๐ฅฐ Fried oysters are often a winter-only menu item, but fried horse mackerel, fried shrimp, and cream crab croquettes are also delicious, so it's hard to choose.
