today at walmart, i stood in front of the chips aisle, then the ice-cream aisle, and walked away empty-handed. i debated spoiling myself or indulging in comfort food bc ive been stressed af lately, but nope, i walked away. all the effort to lose 15kgs this year keeping me strong ๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ

I admire this. I stress baked this weekend and even though a gave most of it away I feel compelled to โ€œtasteโ€ it to make sure itโ€™s good and I also sample the batter and other ingredients and I realize Iโ€™m just making excuses.

thanks pichi. i think iโ€™m being too hard on myself, but iโ€™m only doing it bc i donโ€™t want to slip back into the habit of bringing snacks home. i donโ€™t want to find out how my brain will react to breaking the rule of no snacks and sweets at home. like will it spiral or crave more since i let it go once or be ok ๐Ÿ˜†

I definitely seek dopamine via food so I also try not to be too hard on myself and realize that our neuro spiciness manifests in weird ways at times.
