I don’t have a spam label but I want to highlight that there is a big problem in this system: Priority Mode.

I will try to explain better, replies from people without power badge are not seen by big accounts with priority mode on, this makes casts to have 0 engagement and casters are labeled as spammers. A user without a PB can try to engage with bigger accounts with quality replies, but they will likely be hidden under the view more button, the user will get a spam label, and the big account with priority mode on won't notice anything. Small accounts in order to get a PB will have to work 100x harder than without this weird system.

We don’t have priority mode anymore, but some people do have priority notifications on. Also, your mention tab is limited. So if you get a lot of replies or tags in a short time, you can’t scroll back and see them all.

Thanks for the clarification, I was referring to this checkmark in the notifications.
Of course, I'm not blaming those who get a lot of notifications and don't have time to respond to all of them, but a system that seems to go out of its way to hide those who joined later.

Most users have this on because it separates out likes and follows from mentions. It’s not inherently a bad setting.

On its own this would not be too bad, but when we combine it with the hidden answers and the need to have the power badge to appear in the majority of channels, it becomes a hindrance for those who are new in here and in the face of all this, may leave the app.
It's a shame, because if users felt more heard, there would be a lot more of them.
