One of my favorite things about Japan is cherry blossoms, but did you know you can see them twice a year? Fuyuzakura (winter sakura) are varieties that also bloom in the fall/winter and are a special treat because they are rare. It makes it even better when you stumble across one!

These are not winter blossoms….they aren’t this fluffy. 

This looks like a variety of spring ones but there are 50 major ones! 

These look like Kanzan at first glance. They are very very pink and grow in clusters! I love them.

They are usually very delicate and only a few blooms per branch. They aren’t planted as often in Japan because they aren’t as “fluffy” and beautiful as the spring cherry blossoms but I love them anyway. It’s nature trying its best in the harshest conditions and that makes it awesome.

There were so beautiful 😻 so I should search here for Japanese winter blossoms , maybe I find  its looks so beautiful
