There are 2 great ones. But they are designed to check your own. To check your friends you’ll have to use Compez and know their FID and put it in manually. The dune is much faster.

This is hard to say. I unfollowed everyone and started over. If you’ve never looked at your following closely, you could be following a bunch of bad accounts. 

But these could also be folks who got caught in the net on accident. 

You’ll sadly have to look at them all. 

@hankmoody went through like 800. Maybe he can give some stats on how many seemed to be good bs genuinely spammy.

I share with you this fabulous article that @pichi wrote.

As she suggests there, I created the account in Dune and searched for profiles with tag 0 that follow my FC account.

The result was that 357 of my followers have that tag. I took the time to analyze them 1 by 1 and although nobody knows how the algorithm that issues the tags works, I tell you:

A) the vast majority of these profiles publish meaningless frames, that is, without any added value. This rarely generates interaction.

B) they publish excessive images that are not their own or created by AI.

I give you MY opinion people on points a) and b). When I see profiles like this, they do not generate any interest in me, because all their content is low effort. Of course, I am not the algorithm, but what if it thinks similarly?

Within those 357 profiles, there are authentic people. I will send a note to the creators of FC through Pichi. I hope I can help them. 🫶🫂

Of course I share some data with you, all guided by Pichi's research. When she published the article about saving the starfish, she investigated the people I follow with tag 0.

Of the 357 people, only 46 were false positives. I kept those 46 and unfollowed all the others. Of those 46, I filtered out the 10 with whom I have the most contact and, through another thread that Pichi suggested, I wrote to the WC team. As a result of the station update, they were all moved to tag 1.

2nd case: "My followers". After another piece of information that Pichi published, I investigated my followers at that time, here are the results:

-969 with tag 2.
-744 with tag 1.
-1,753 with tag 0. Sadly, this represents 50%.

I took 500 at random and found that the vast majority of them are garbage 😪
