@kenny you are following over 100 people with a level 0 spam label. I’m sure some of them are good casters who might need help getting out of spam jail.

I bet that many of these folks are caught in the algorithm and shouldn’t have this label.

It’s really really hard to tell.

 I did an experiment where I unfollowed everyone for a couple of months to see what the algorithm would show me on the Home feed so I assumed most of my followers were good since I re-added them very strategically. In my case, I had eight people with Spam labels. two of them have left the platform. Two of them were automated bought accounts that are good bots that provide information and the other four where people i onboarded who left the platform over the summer because they felt invisible.   


I would think most people have a mix, depending on who you followed when you first joined. Since I only had a handful to go through it was really easy to look at all their profiles and see who was clearly mislabeled.

This is so kind. What % of people with the label are good people vs. bots?

The team asked specifically for level 0 so I think that should be the main focus. Level 1 doesn’t exclude you from earning reward. It’s harder but you aren’t banned from participating.

We would really appreciate help getting out of this mess. The end of last month we were ok and able to claim our degens but one week later this happened… We have been miss labeled as spammy. If sharing our photos and knowledge is spammy this is not the platform for us to share. Please, please help. We need our friends.

This is weird. I got your notification. Normally if someone has a 0 label, I don’t get one. 

The good news is, the spam algo actually runs and updates daily. The bad news is, we don’t see the results publicly until Thursday afternoon. So my guess is that your label may have already changed back to a good one. 

Otherwise I wouldn’t have seen this!

Phrasing it in my own words to double check if I'm correct.

If people shouldn't be marked as spammy I'll go to the cast of V and ask to remove the label.

If I'm following who has a 0 and actually really is spammy I need to unfollow him correct?

There are 2 great ones. But they are designed to check your own. To check your friends you’ll have to use Compez and know their FID and put it in manually. The dune is much faster.
