Dave and I are hunters and we shoot with our cameras. We shoot not to kill but to capture the moment and immortalize what is in front of our eyes forever. One of our passions is to photograph storms. Yes we are storm chasers but we have always been photographers first. One of our favourite subjects to photograph is lightning. Raw, beautiful and extremely dangerous lightning. We only get one chance to capture these beautiful bolts. There are no retakes. We have to get it right the first time!

Happy Tree Tuesday Fam. . Today I’m combining trees and their inhabitants. . Eagles choose their trees wisely! . The tree has to: . support 1 ton or more of wood and softer materials, ~13 feet deep and 9 feet wide. and the birds weight is normally between 3 and 6.3 kg (6.6 and 13.9 lb) . A family of 4 or 5 . Last for many years. . Be near water with their food of choice- fish . In a protected area from extreme wind . The tree has to be accessible the typical wingspan is between 1.8 and 2.3 m or 5 ft 11 in and 7 ft 7 in Love watching the eagles.
