Today I stopped reading a book at the 31% mark on my Kindle. I wasn’t enjoying it. If I’m over 1/3 of the way through and it’s not hitting, I need to move on. I’ve always felt compelled to finish a book I’ve started but it’s my time: I get to choose how to use it. Give yourself permission to stop reading a book you aren’t enjoying.

It was definitely hard to stop but I don’t think it was going to get better if I read 100 more pages. Decided to go to the next book!

Yeah… and the worse thing is that if you keep trying you end up reading slower and then you have less time for better books!
