✨ FAQ: So You Got A Weird Token In Your Warpcast Wallet ✨ 

Warpcast Wallet hides spammy tokens by default, but you may notice unknown tokens listed if you choose to tap "Show All." These are almost always spam or scams. And once in a while a spammy token makes it past the filter. These tokens will usually try to trick you into visiting a malicious website by displaying a link in the token name or in an error message.

The best and safest thing you can do is to IGNORE THEM. Just don't interact at all.

Q: I got an unknown token. What should I do with it?
A: Ignore it.

Q: It says it's an airdrop. Is this free money?
A: No, ignore it. This is a scam.

Q: Should I send it out of my wallet?
A: No, ignore it.

Q: Should I swap it for another token?
A: No, ignore it.

Q: There's a website in the token name, should I visit it?
A: No, ignore it. The link is a scam.

Q: I tried to swap it and the error says to go to a website. Should I visit it?
A: No, ignore it. The link is a scam.

Your connected wallets are public, searchable, analyzed, and imported into Dune queries to make lists of targets. If you are here, you are a target. 

1. Be suspicious. 
2. Be vigilant. 
3. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. 
4. Projects and teams who actually give free money for being here will probably want promotion and will talk about it on the timeline. 
5. Ask around. Ask your group chats. Ask in channels you frequent. Talk about things in public. Some rando offering you a job via DM is 99% a scam. Screenshot it and ask publicly about it.

Thank you for this. Was getting annoyed with the malicious coins being dropped to me but that’s all wallets. Glad they hide the spammy coins!
