lol, they teach kids weird math these days in America. I don’t understand why they changed it and feel bad for parents.

Many US school systems went through this big overhaul a few years ago and it’s really rough on parents because they didn’t learn math that way. And since the kids have to show their work, you have to do it the way the school teaches, not how parents learned to do it as kids. It’s sad and hilarious.

I live in France, and our system is evolving a little bit, but yes, I think I understood that things are going to change in the USA.
