Just for fun, write down the calculation on a sheet of paper and solve both results. 1000 degen each for the first 3 correct answers. No calculator, of course (8-year-old son鈥檚 math homework)

lol, they teach kids weird math these days in America. I don鈥檛 understand why they changed it and feel bad for parents.

I live in France, and our system is evolving a little bit, but yes, I think I understood that things are going to change in the USA.

Many US school systems went through this big overhaul a few years ago and it鈥檚 really rough on parents because they didn鈥檛 learn math that way. And since the kids have to show their work, you have to do it the way the school teaches, not how parents learned to do it as kids. It鈥檚 sad and hilarious.
