Choju jinbutsu giga, a set of four scrolls from the 12th and 13th centuries, is one of Japanβs most celebrated works of art. Some consider them the original βmangaβ. The artist is unknown, and parts are missing. Some attribute the work to the artist and priest Toba Sojo,but there is no definitive proof. @checkin

Incredible, I had never seen them before, and if they are so old, even more impressive. Do they house it in a kind of "Museum"?
