Choju jinbutsu giga, a set of four scrolls from the 12th and 13th centuries, is one of Japanโ€™s most celebrated works of art. Some consider them the original โ€œmangaโ€. The artist is unknown, and parts are missing. Some attribute the work to the artist and priest Toba Sojo,but there is no definitive proof. @checkin

Incredible, I had never seen them before, and if they are so old, even more impressive. Do they house it in a kind of "Museum"?
