Something subtle that I think is really important to growing an audience on FC is having a perspective that is unique and different to CT.

I've seen a lot of people try and get by just cross-posting to both - but each has its own unique vibe and I think it's important to approach it from that perspective.

I don't think this will always be the case - but I've made a really conscious effort to not just lazily post the same thing in two places but have takes that are intended towards different audiences.

we've run a bunch of experiments, and cross posting never really works. 

you have to post something unique and engage with your audience here for it to work. for better or for worse.

I don’t mind cross posting. But I hated that experiment where some popular accounts cross posted from Twitter to here and weren’t really here. Felt like taking to a wall and it was awful. 

I don’t mind if people post content in more than one place. I’m only here. I won’t even notice. But if you never come back and chat with us, I will notice.
