Should you comment on a cast that shows up in your home feed? ➔ Do you follow each other? -Yes ➔ Comment away (you can’t get a spam label commenting on mutual follow’s casts) - No ➔ Next Question ➔ Is the cast in a channel? - Yes ➔ Comment Away (you can’t get a spam label commenting inside or channels) - No ➔ Just like and move on* *if the caster consistently engages with most comments on their casts, comment once and see how it goes…if they don’t like or comment back, stop interacting with them or you could get a spam label ➔ Do you have something meaningful, funny, or supportive to say? - Yes ➔ Go for it! - No ➔ Just like and move on. ➔ Is your comment kind and respectful? - Yes ➔ Go for it! - No ➔ Stop. This is helpful for newbies who didn't know they're labelled as spam. Sadly this is how the algo works, it's hurting growth and engagement. We all just want to interact with content we're interested in, "spam" or not

The spam algo is getting better but it still feels like a trap for new people with no network here.
