Channel Changes and You (a thread)
MAJOR Channel changes take place today, Oct 4, around 1:00 PM PDT.
If you are a host, you should be studying the Notion notes about channels and be ready to invite moderators, human or bots, to your channel and decide how you will invite new members going forward.
As a channel user, what happens at 1 PM will be different for every channel you are casting in.
If you are NOT invited to join a channel and become a member, you won’t be able to cast into the channel. The Warpcast UX will change and you will be stopped from casting. You will have read access to all channels. If you reply in a channel that you aren’t a a member of, you are labeled as spam inside the channel and your replies go to the “show more replies” bucket unless a moderator or the original caster engages with your post. The UX will not stop you from replying.
