Why are people choosing Warpcast (and Farcaster) over other socials? I’m very interested in reading all the replies. I don’t do other social because it’s toxic, you can be deplatformed for any reason, and it’s not the internet I grew up on or want to see. Farcaster is closer to Web1 that anything I’ve ever come across. Looking for hot takes here!

Basically, i dont really like alot of audience😅, and some people I dont really know gossips about my post or how am i am doing, If I did post its only to update my family and selected friends (which usually on group chats) and for milestone purposes😄 (like i did or went to somewhere 10 years ago) I havent taken out my social media yet, because sometimes its nice to gossip😊hihihi… and since i dont watch news on TV that much social media apps is my next source for news(i am aware of some fake news though, so i just visit legit pages)

Even aside from the readily available funs and goods here and all the available possibilities in full play, the atmosphere of it all and all the different people who actually take pride in their work and what they do...the setups nice as well. Have to say word for word My experience here had been phenomenal and educative without being dull or expected as much so as everywhere else I've been. Hands down, you said it best too... I feel the grime staring at me from the floor below everytime I log into my twitter.

Before warpcast I wasn’t on any socials. Had a facebook and x but never used them. I had completely quit social media and was fine with it. Most socials are a collection of peoples selfies and political rants. Same shit. Cesspool of toxicity. Warpcast was different right away. Most don’t dox themselves on their pfp which is awesome. Folks aren’t able to judge your looks, they have to focus on character and connections. (How it should be) It’s been amazing creating connections with amazing people on here and most I have no idea what they look like. I’m getting to know their souls. That’s important.

Well put, web1 is indeed the feeling I experience here as well. Something similar to older internet forums, but I was too young back then to fully experience it. Out of all social platforms out there, I enjoy Farcaster the most for sure! Farcaster is dense with high quality users who engage in good faith most of the time.

Warpcast is very good to use. It will probably be much better than X. Q It started to become popular since there was a Mini App on the application and it made it easier for users to access it without having to run to the browser first and it's a shame that WARPLET doesn't support all networks yet.

In large part I would say the reason for my participation here vs any other web3 decentralized social experience, is the sheer potential from all they’ve been aligning with over the years. The only thing that contributes to a lasting platform is user base really. And energy goes where attention flows; people flock to one another — so users beget more users so long as the environment has everything that can retain them. The Coinbase & Base alignments felt like strong indicators for me to stick around. Naturally though, I’m still on all the web2 socials. As a music artist, I’m doing my due diligence to shine my lighthouse in all directions in order to find my community & core fan base wherever they may be.

The tool doesn’t make the message. Unfortunately today, so many projects have hidden agendas, some for quick flips others more sophisticated in structuring Ponzi schemes. Warpcast is just a tool.
